Frequently asked questions.
Where are psychotherapy sessions held?
My office is conveniently located just off Eagle Road, between Overland and Victory, about 3 minutes from the freeway. I can meet in person or can provide Telehealth if desired.
What hours do you offer sessions?
My typical session hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. I also offer limited evening and weekend availability.
What can I expect during my first appointment?
The first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and learn more about your background. We'll also explore what brings you to counseling at this time and identify the goals you'd like to work on together.
How long do I need to be in counseling?
The length of therapy varies for each person. Some people seek short-term support to navigate a challenging period, while others find value in having ongoing space to process life’s difficulties. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll create a plan that best fits your needs.
What are you fees?
I am in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross of Idaho, Cigna, Mountain Health Co-op, Pacific Source, Regence, Select Health, and St. Lukes Health Plan
If I’m not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be able to work with me using out-of-network benefits, if you have a PPO plan. You can contact your insurance company to find out what your out-of-network coverage is for outpatient mental health services. In this case, you would pay privately for sessions and I would provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
You’re also welcome to work with me on a private-pay basis. My fee for a standard 60-minute session is $150.
